“One of the benefits of the IRIS M Motion Amplification camera is that we can look at transient vibration events over longer periods of time. Here is a perfect example of a robot where we took an acquisition over 2 minutes to capture its full cycle. The non-contact measurement point is on the base, marked with the red box.
The robot was suffering from several reliability problems after an extra station was added. You can see significant motion at station 2 in the 2-minute time waveform. We then focused on this event and captured the base in more detail, revealing significant issues. Looking forward to a follow-up after the base improvement. Note the robot is lifting around 200Kg.” — Stuart Walker
