The latest software v3.1 allows for long-term or time-lapse options. I was keen to test this in a real-world application in a challenging environment. We used a steam turbine warmup, which drives a feed pump, to measure thermal growth over nearly 3 hours, recording an image every 20 seconds. It worked really well, even with some steam affecting the data early on. The data recovered well once the steam reduced. Lots of applications for this new addition to the software.” — Stuart Walker
